This advanced-beginner hat pattern is knit in the round from the brim to the top of the head. Please read through entire directions before starting. Hat is reversible! If you’re adding an optional pompom decide which way you like the hat before sewing it in place, or you can attach it with a safety pin and switch it around as desired.

This hat was designed in collaboration with Knitted Wit, as a part of the Snowy Hat Collection. Five other Portland designers and I were given skeins of Knitted Wit’s yarn in these new Snowy colors, and were tasked with designing a hat.
