A Shaped Vest and Pantettes
KEEP OUT chilling winds by knitting the illustrated undies. Both the pantettes and vest are beautifully shaped and you will find that they will cling neatly to your figure. The vest pattern will prove extremely popular as it gives directions for a well shaped brassier top.
THE VEST
Materials—Patons beehive fingering, 3-ply; “Patonised”—Shrink-Resist Finish. Quantity, 4oz.; knitting needles, 1 pair each Nos. 11 and 12; ribbon.
Measurements (to fit 32-34 inch bust); length from centre front to lower edge, 20 in.
THE PANTETTES
Materlals—Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply, “Patonised”—Shrink-reslst finish Quantity, 5oz.; knitting needles, 1 pair each Nos. 11 and 12; a medium sized crochet hook; 1 yard ribbon, one inch in width, three small buttons.
Measurements — Width all round at waist, 26in.; width all round at hips, 36 in.: length at centre front, 14½in.
Tension—To get these measurements it is absolutely necessary to work at a tension to produce 8½ stitches to the inch in width.
