Excellent substitutes would be Red Heart Super Saver, or Bernat Super Value.

Most Worsted Weight Yarns will work well for this project.

This pattern is available in multiple sizes, from baby to adult. Most sizes will take under an hour to crochet, from start to finish.

The hat is crocheted from the top-down in one piece. The project is a quick and easy one and you only need 112 yds (102 m) for the Adult Medium Cap Size.
