I designed this pattern while I was in university. I felt like I needed a simple garter shawl to keep my hands busy so that I could keep my brain focused on class!

This shawl is a classic triangular shawl that features irregular stripes starting with a little slip stitch detail.

There is lots of room for modification in this shawl, you can extend the pattern and make it bigger, or change up the stripe pattern to make it your own!

I used 3 skeins of 75% alpaca / 25% nylon yarn.
However, any 2+ colors or fingering weight yarn that you are comfortable wearing around your neck should work!

Worked at a 20 stitch and 40 rows gauge in garter stitch.
I used a 3.5mm circular needle on a 40 inch cord.

Have fun!
