My Summer Slouch Hat was crocheted with DK Weight Yarn (Light Weight Yarn), a 4 mm (G) hook for the band, and a 5 mm (H) hook for the hat body. The yarn used for this project was given to me by King Cole.

This pattern is available in sizes Toddler (12-24 months), Small Child (3-5 years), Child (6-10 years), Teen (Adult Small), Adult Medium and Adult Large.

For my Summer Slouch HatI used 1.93 oz (55 g) and 139 yds (127 m) of DK Weight Yarn.

Hat Band: Approximately 6 sc in 1 inch and 5 rows per 1 inch

Hat Body: Approximately *18 sts per 4 inches and 8 rows per 4 inches.

*18 sts = (1 dc, ch 1) 9 times
