A Swagger Coat of Thick Wool
This pattern is
available for free.
Squares are used for patterning to give the illusion that this swagger coat is made of a self-checked material. It is designed for wear when winter winds blow coldest, but you might make use of it well into spring, as an extra wrap to take with you on a day’s outing.
MATERIALS: 2½lb of thick sports wool, equal to an 8ply wool m thickness; No. 7 needles.
MEASUREMENTS: Full length of coat, 35 inches; sleeve at the underarm seam, 20 inches.
