A Touch of Lace is a triangle shawl with a lace edge along the top. It is the perfect introduction to shawl knitting and/or lace knitting but can be enjoyed by experienced knitters, too. Knitted in garter stitch with an easy pattern repeat, it is perfect for binge-watching or taking along on a trip.

The shawl is knitted in worsted weight (#4) yarn on US 11 (8 mm) needles. The sample shawl used a single cake (400 m/437 yards) of Team Time XL (colorway #10) from Hobbii. The knitted shawl is 60 inches wide at the top and 24 inches at the midpoint. The pattern can be adapted to use any type of yarn as long as the needle size and the yarn quantity are adjusted accordingly.
