Stripes? Triangles? Zigzag? It almost looks like ‘A Touch of Magic’ when front and back of this scarf present themselves differently. In fact, only the placement of the third color is responsible for the different appearance. The waves are created by a mixture of brioche and doubleface. The latter is not worked as usual but with slipped stitches. As a result, you always have to handle just one thread. Right side and wrong side rows are each worked twice, as it is common with two-color-brioche. The pattern itself is not difficult, but you need a certain amount of concentration because you have to switch between the two techniques, throughout the rows.

Hin- und Rückreihen werden, wie beim Brioche üblich, je zweimal gestrickt. Das Muster an sich ist nicht schwierig, aber weil man durchgehend innerhalb der Reihen zwischen Brioche und Doubleface wechselt, ist etwas Konzentration nötig.
