These socks are a fun option for knitting up a skein of self striping yarn, when you want to knit something with some interest instead of a vanilla sock! There is a pretty twisted cable mirrored on the socks, and the twisted stitches are knit without a cable needle. I knit mine with a shadow wrap short row heel, as it does not disrupt the stripes.

Pattern Notes:

This pattern can be knit with the magic loop method or with DPNs. It is knit from the toe upward, with a shadow wrap short row heel, but your favourite heel for toe up socks can be substituted. They are easily adapted to cuff down, and notes on adapting it are included.
