A Two-Piece Surf Suit (Shorts)
This pattern is
available for free.
Simple to knit, and a slim shape on, this shorts and brassiere suit is one which is right in the fashion, and the addition of a handkerchief top, fastened at the back of the neck and the waist, leaving the back exposed for sun-bathing, makes the suit correct wear on the beach. Here are directions for the shorts, the directions for the top will appear next week.
MATERIALS: 6 ounces unshrinkable wool, a pair of No. 12 Stratnoid knitting needles.
The pattern for the brassiere top was published in the October 4, 1934, issue.
