A Walk Through the Cedars
Construction: toe up two at a time socks. (NOTE: pattern does not include instructions for cast on).
Lovely warm socks reminding me of our huge cedar tree in our yard. Easy knitted toe up socks with large rib design and just enough fair isle stranded work to keep interest and set off the socks at the top.
Most knitters are mathematical geniuses. I am not. And you don’t need to be to knit socks. Just like the great chefs that add a pinch of this and a dash of that to make delicious recipes, knitters don’t need to be obsessed with the number of stitches and compute extreme math to make incredible socks. My versions of socks fit perfectly and use the simplest formula ever. It is so simple that socks are my travel projects. Two at a time toe up is the easiest way to knit socks. There is no second sock syndrome and no keeping track of rows (other than when there is a chart).
