A Web for FiberSpider
I have another one-row shawl to add to my collection. There is something about the simplicity of a one-row pattern. I’m sure it could seem tedious to some, but there is also a meditative ease to it. It is no great effort to learn and memorize the pattern, and so easy to put down and pick up days or even weeks later without having to remember where you left off. Absolutely perfect for “waiting room” crocheting.
I used Lion Brand Mandala for this shawl. It is a lovely soft acrylic in an assortment of gorgeous colors and works up into a cozy, squishy shawl. If you prefer not to use Mandala, my go-to pairing for yarn and hook is fingering weight yarn with an H hook to maximize drape, and you may absolutely substitute as you see fit. Patterns aren’t rules as much as they are strong suggestions. ;)
I am dedicating this one to FiberSpider, who has graciously provided excellent video tutorials for so many of my patterns And here is his tutorial for this one! Many thanks, FiberSpider!
As the original shawl was made with acrylic, I’ve included a swatch in a blockable yarn so you can see a blocked version.
Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
