A Winter’s Tale Hat and Skirt Set

A “tale” in which you get to choose the ending!

Do you want a scalloped edge or a straight edge? With a white edging or a stripe of white and a blue edging? A flower, or no flower? It’s up to you!

Materials required:

1 skein worsted weight yarn (aran/10ply) in main colour and Oddments in another colour.

I used HobbyKnit Alpine Spark which, technically, is listed as DK (light worsted/8ply) but in reality works up as aran (worsted/10ply).

I used Stylecraft Special Aran for the white trim.

You will also need:

4mm hook; 4.5mm hook; 5mm hook
A yarn needle

Gauge: 14 sts and 10 rows on 5mm hook, working hdc = 4”
