The pattern features a knitted cobweb style skirt peplum. A bodice that uses duplicate stitch and a little single crochet around the skirt edge and chain stitch on sleeves. The crochet can be changed for extra knit rows, and is explained in the pattern.

The pattern is not difficult but some basic knitting skills are desirable. Keep to an even tension for a smooth appearance. If you are a loose knitter either use a smaller needle or a thicker yarn. In this case I would suggest aran or worsted. The doll measurements may knit up slightly larger over all.

Although I have included crochet in this pattern, don’t be put off. The stitches are easy to master- just single crochet and a chain stitch.

The crochet trim could also be knitted in garter stitch instead and I have mentioned this in the pattern.
