Aardwolf (Hyena) Amigurumi
Make your own Aardwolf. A member of the Hyaenidae family, this curious creature is the only hyena that does not hunt large mammals. As the name suggests, the Aardwolf feasts exclusively on termites and insect larva. The Aardwolf can be found in shrublands in Southern and Eastern Africa.
The 50 page pattern includes detailed step-by-step photos and clear written instructions to make an amigurumi-style Aardwolf. PLUS there is a 17 page printer-friendly TEXT ONLY version at the end of the pattern. This pattern has been fully tested by multiple testers. Includes yarn amounts and hook sizes to make an Aardwolf using worsted weight yarn.
Recommended for INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE SKILL LEVEL. This pattern uses basic crochet stitches and more complex stitches (detailed in the pattern glossary). This pattern also uses colorwork/tapestry crochet.
A finished Aardwolf made using Worsted Weight yarn is approximately 14.5” long from nose to rump, 10” tall from ear tip to paws, and 4.5” wide across the hips.
