PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is begun with an i-cord which is worked for 30 rows, stitches are picked up along this i-cord for the main body of the shawl. The shawl is worked flat from side to side with charted increases within the main body pattern. The border pattern is worked at the same time as main body and contains 8 beads per repeat worked over 4 separate rows.

When placing a bead for this shawl, you will be working the stitch as charted first. Place a bead onto the crochet hook, slip the just worked stitch off the needles with the crochet hook, with tension on the hook slip the bead off the hook and onto the stitch. Replace the stitch onto the right needle tip. Place bead spots are indicated in red on the chart to aid visibility.

Please note this pattern does not have the charted patterns translated into written directions.
