Abbey Pier Eyelet Pullover
Bold eyelet texture and twisted rib stand out against a backdrop of neutral speckles in this breezy pullover. Unlike other designs in this chapter, Abbey Pier’s textural details begin early, but are so simple to work that they don’t require much concentration. Designed to be layered over a solid tank top or tee, Abbey Pier features versatile sleeves and a relaxed fit with simple lace details and a strategic cable just under the bust. This creative marriage of texture and speckled color makes for an exciting wardrobe addition that is sure to attract notice.
Abbey Pier is worked flat until the neckline shaping is complete, then joined and worked in the round from that point down. The Eyelet Panel is established just after the neckline join and is worked down the front of the body, with a little double cable interruption that draws the garment in just a bit under the bust.
