This fun hat design was inspired by a beautiful skein of yarn that was, in turn, inspired by The Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover, dyed by Brittany of Crux Fibres. I wanted an easy, fun and memorable hat design to celebrate all of these amazing artists! The finished product fits like a dream and hopefully makes you smile!

This unisex hat is worked from the bottom up in a one-piece seamless construction. The textured pattern is simple and easy-to-memorize, which makes for a fun, stress-free knit!

Sizing: Small, Medium and Large to fit head circumference of 20, 22 and 24 inches, respectively.

Two options for yarn are provided. This hat is knit at a DK weight and as such, either a DK weight yarn can be used or a fingering weight yarn held with mohair. Both options are given in the pattern.

I’m a big pom pom fan and think this hat is a perfect piece to show off a stunning pom pom but it can also be worn simply as a beanie if you prefer. The pom poms in my pictures are from Yarn Boler.

I hope you enjoy knitting this hat as much as I enjoyed creating it!
