Here are my ABC 123 Blanket Patterns

As you can see from the pictures, there are two styles, one with just the letters and numbers and one with added swirls down the sides.

My original design was the one without the swirls, but one of my testers wanted to make the blanket a bit wider, so, I got creative and added them on. Therefore, there are now two patterns, one without the swirls and one with! It’s completely up to you which one you choose to do… or do both!

Not only is this a great blanket to snuggle in, I think if this was made as a rug, it would be an awesome tool for playing games and learning for kids!

Pattern without the swirls

• The finished size is approximately 24” x 38” when sticking to the gauge.
• This version uses approximately 1,760 yards
• There are written instructions and a chart. Please note that the written instructions are based on using one colour ONLY.

Pattern with the swirls

• The finished size is approximately 33” x 38” when sticking to the gauge.
• This version uses approximately 2,000 yards
• There are written instructions and 2 charts. Please note that the written instructions are based on using one colour ONLY and do not state when to colour change. I have included a coloured chart that you can refer to if you would like to use multiple colours.

For both versions

Materials needed:

• Embroidery needle
• Scissors
• Highlighter for marking off rows if you print a copy
• DK (8ply) yarn
