Note: You will require BASIC crochet experience to crochet the bonnet ties. However, alternatively you could use ribbon, sari silk, fabric or icord to create the ties and that would work just fine, too.

The Abel Bonnet is knit flat and seamed. It requires knowledge of basic knit, purl and knitting two stitches together. It requires worsted weight yarn, 5mm (US8) straight needles, 5mm (US8) crochet hook (if you choose to crochet the ties), tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors.

SIZE: Sitter (to fit most 6 - 9 month old ‘sitters’, for newborn photography sessions).

NOTE: This pattern is intended to be used for creating a newborn photography prop. It is not intended for every day use. Never leave baby unattended while wearing or using your finished item.
