Hidden in the hills of the North Okanagan, the Aberdeen Columns are a wall of spectacular geometric basalt rising above the Aberdeen Plateau. Formed from ancient volcanic activity, these lichen covered columns are a true wonder of nature.

With a slouchy brioche top and cozy marled foot, these socks are the ultimate comfort meets style accessory. The perfect sock for reading in bed, knitting by the fire, or keeping you warm on a snowy winter walk. Use two colours for a classic look, or combine leftover yarn throughout for a fun marled fade.

21 stitches and 34 rows over 4” / 10cm in stockinette stitch, with yarn held double.

A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.

Suggested needles: 3.25mm (US 3), or size needed to obtain above listed gauge, in preferred style for working in the round.

| SIZING/FINISHED MEASUREMENTS/YARN REQUIREMENTS |

Finished socks should measure about 10% smaller around than actual foot circumference ( ½–1” / 1.5–2.5cm) for all sizes. For adult feet, finished sock foot should measure about ½” / 1.5cm shorter than actual foot length. For growing feet, you may wish for finished sock foot to measure actual foot length, to allow for longer wear. Leg and foot lengths are suggested measurements and are easily adjustable for a personal fit.
