This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole. There are easy adjustments contained within the pattern, should you want the shawl to be wider than a stole. This stole is 17 1/2 inches x 74 inches, and the shawl would be 21 1/2 inches x 74 inches.

The focal cable is a very unique one that came to us from Scotland.

The stitches are both charted and written out, but it is always wise to be able to refer to the chart.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the entire pattern, the optional edging.
