Loom knit yourself this oh-so-soft scarf featuring a little spunk trimmed in fun fur.

The Abert’s Scarf is knit on Authentic Knitting Board’s 28” Afghan Knitting Board (a 7/16” gauge loom with 140 pegs) and uses approximately 250 yards of Lion Brand Homespun yarn in the Barks colorway) and 15 yards of a fun fur yarn (Valerie by Department 71 in the Eyeliner Black colorway was used in the sample).

The fabric is completely reversible, and the scarf is convertible to a cowl, an infinity scarf, a scarf with a long tail, a wrap….it’s only limited by your imagination.

The pattern includes step by step instructions and a diagram to illustrate the stitch pattern used. This pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner loom knitter.

The Abert’s Scarf is named after the cute little Abert’s squirrel, with his black tufted ears and a bushy tail, that frequents the woods here in Colorado.
