Abi Hat
I designed the Abi Hat as a gift for my Partner for Christmas. There are lots of small details that make this hat beautiful and very warm to wear. Subtle cables give a lattice look like that found on a stained glass window arch. You can play around with colours to find your own take on this hat an make it your own.
If you need a larger size then adjust your needle size, or add or subtract a repeat.
Yarn
1 Skein of Double Knit ( I used Juniper Moon Farm, Herriot, colour 1001, 100% Baby Alpaca, 200m per 100g)
Sample used 53 grams/ 106 m (MC)
And
1 Skein of Fingering weight (I used Sara’s Texture Crafts in Orchid, 100% Superwash Falkland Merino, 400m per 100g)
Sample used 18.5 grams/ 74m (CC)
I have Kits in my Etsy Shop using LeafYarns DK Merino and Merino Nylon Fingering available as pre-orders.
Gauge is tricky as it was all rib and cables but the finished hat fits a 21” head perfectly with a slight amount of negative ease.
