Abigail Cardigan
Pattern Description
The Abigail Cardigan is a raglan sweater worked from the top down and then the sleeves are added when the body is finished. First you will stitch the yoke of the sweater, then separate the sleeves; you will continue to stitch the body rows, and once these are complete a small ruffle row is created to form a peplum edging. This peplum is quite wide but could easily be made shorter or longer depending on your preference. When stitching the sleeves, you will seam as you go with a slip stitch. Make sure you skip the sl st after you turn at the beginning of each row. I recommend to only chain 1 stitch when turning as it will make the seam less visible.
