A Sweet Pea Basics* pattern…
Why spend long hours making fancy clothes that a baby will quickly outgrow? Designed to save you both time and money, Sweet Pea Basics is a pattern line of easy to make infant wear based on simple construction principles combined with uncomplicated, yet pretty stitch patterns, so items work up quickly and look great too.

The Abigail infant pullover is a box style sweater that features chevron patterned sleeves and bodice, with a moss rib patterned yoke. It has hidden snap plackets at the shoulders to provide ample room for slipping the sweater over an infant’s head.

Additional Materials Needed:
One 6 oz./315 yard skein Caron Simply Soft (4) acrylic yarn in your choice of color; Yarn needle, scissors, tape measure, sewing needle & sewing thread in color matching yarn; Six 1/4 inch diameter sew-on metal snaps

A photo tutorial for making hidden snap plackets is included in the pattern.

This pattern uses U.S. crochet/knitting terminology and U.S. measurement specifications.
