Gauge is unimportant for this project-- although you’ll want it tighter so the stuffing doesn’t show through. If you are a tight knitter, the size 3 needles might be a bit rough to work with, so you may want to go up a needle size or two.

This fella is made in the round. It’s probably not the best project to learn how to use double points, as you are casting on 6 sts and increasing from there.
