The About Town Mittens are a pair of mittens that will become a winter staple; the pattern includes two variations of mitten flaps.

The mittens have a fancy rib cuff knit on smaller needles and a plain stocking-stitch main part of the mitten. A few rows of fancy rib complete the top of the mitten. An optional mitten flap can be sewn on to the mitten at the end to give the option of covering the fingers. There are instructions for two variations of mitten flap: a fancy rib and a plain stocking-stitch flap.

Recommended Patterns:
The About Town Mittens can be worn with the About Town Hat or About Town Cowl.
