Abraxas Vertex II and its sister, Abraxas Vertex I (sportweight), are paired with Simple Ziggurat Jubilæum Edition for Chapter 1 of the eBook
If you are purchasing Abraxas Vertex I & II as invidual patterns, there is a reduced price when they are bought together.
Abraxas Vertex II is knitted from tip to wide border to make an asymmetric triangle – growing little by little, two steps forward, one step back.
A simple cable pattern lends an intuitive rhythm to the knitting and makes for a nicely, squishy texture. A contrasting border in mistake rib is knitted along with the body and this rib also completes the shawl in a generous final border.
The pattern is written out row by row and is also charted. There are separate instructions for knitting from charts.
eBook subscribers will get an invitation to watch a video introduction to Chapter 1 – I talk about the two designs in the chapter, and you’ll get some tips and hints about yarn choices & techniques.
