Abrazo (ah-brah-soh) is the word in Spanish for embrace or hug.

I wanted to design something that feels like a hug when you wear it, so I decided to name the shawl “Abrazo.” – My inspiration came from the warmth of the people from Latin America. We always hug to say hello and goodbye, and it is something that I believe we miss the most when we leave our countries.

I also think that with all the isolation people have been forced to be in during these past years, the idea of working on something that will feel like receiving a hug will resonate with knitters all over the world.
