Absol, the Disaster Pokemon
My original Absol pattern was the first ever pattern I designed myself many years ago. As one of my favourite Pokémon I felt that it was due for an upgrade.
This pattern includes small variations in the body and back legs which allow you to make a standing or sitting version.
The finished doll measures about 15cm tall and 15cm long (plus 10cm for the tail).
Supplies
• 3.5mm hook
• Yarn needle
• Felt in white and red (normal form) or green (shiny form).
• Fiberfill stuffing
• DK weight yarn in white (~100g) and grey/blue (normal form) or red (shiny form) (~50g).
• Jewellery wire (optional)
Notes
• Pattern uses standard American crochet terms. There are a couple of special instructions which are described when relevant.
• At the end of each instruction, the number in square brackets indicates the sc count e.g. 5sc.
• When working in the round, do not join rounds, instead work in a continuous spiral.
• When working flat, always ch1 to turn at the end of the row unless otherwise specified.
