Summer’s here and I needed something to help keep my hair off of my neck as I grow it out. I was browsing the selection of bun snoods, but none of them caught my eye, so I decided to wing it, and this is what came out. A little test of what i’ve learned so far as an advanced beginner of crochet.

I used Aunt Lydia’s Bamboo crochet thread (size 10) in White, a size 7 hook, and a scunci ouchless ponytail elastic. This will fit shoulder length hair. For a larger snood, I recommend either repeating round 4 a couple times, or using larger thread/yarn and a larger hook.

This was also my first real project using size 10 crochet thread. I’m still a newbie at writing patterns, so forgive me if it’s a little hard to follow. Enjoy! ^_^
