Go avant-garde with this bright blanket by Pauline Morgan, which uses different stitch heights to create soft, painterly shapes

Hello and welcome to the Abstract Throw Crochet Pattern.

The pattern is for a striking, colourful and retro throw that has been inspired by Kandinsky’s beautiful art and was originally designed for Simply Crochet Magazine, Issue No 145 released in January 2024. The throw is created with granny squares that are made with different length stitches. This unique design will look fabulous in your home or garden all year round. It will be perfect for your Spring and Summer picnics and fabulous to keep cosy under during Autumn and Winter. The most special part is every throw made with this pattern will be completely unique to the maker. What a fabulous family heirloom it can be. I have loved designing and creating this beautiful pattern and really hope you will love the pattern as much I do.

The individual pattern is made up of an 11 page pdf digital document that includes step by step instructions and lots of helpful photography to assist with making the throw. THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL EBOOK.

A how to video tutorial is coming soon on my YouTube channel.
