-Acadia is a made to measure skirt, but I have provided suggestions based on standard CYC measurements.
-Skirt is worked in one long panel so it’s very easy to wrap around as you go to check the fit.
-Pattern is worked from side to side.
Belt loops are an optional customization tip, but I think they’re worth it!
-Size modeled is suggested size XS, on a 5’4” body, and used approx. 389 yds of chunky cat. 5 weight yarn.
Yarn used was Yarn Bee Tender Touch, 100% Acrylic, in color Olive.
-This is a very stretchy stitch, I added belt loops so that mine stays up at a higher waistline. This is optional, but do note that if you don’t want to wear your skirt with a belt, you might want to make yours a bit snugger (i.e. do less rows than suggested, or as you’re checking the fit, keep it at a length that’s a bit snug)
-Suggested sizes are written as follows: XS(S,M,L)(XL,2X,3X,4X,5X)
-Estimated yardage is given based off of middle height range suggestion for sizes xs-5x, again this might vary significantly based on your customizations.
