The Acai Top is a cropped, slightly off-the-shoulder top that can be made for any season. It is made by working 4 panels that are seamed to create the front and back, then the sleeves are worked directly on to the body. This garment makes use of the flat slip stitch join method to create a cute little accent seam - you can do this in the color you made the garment OR go bold and create a contrast with a different color!

This is an intermediate level pattern due to the more complicated seaming method used, but would be great for an ambitious beginner as well! It is graded for sizes XS-5X and designed to have 2-4 inches of positive ease. My purple sample is a size XL and my cream colored sample is a size L on a 43in. bust.

Materials:

• 5mm hook (or size needed to meet gauge)
• Approximately 511 (575, 638, 702, 766) (830, 894, 958, 1021) yards/312 (351, 389, 428, 467) (506, 545, 584, 623) grams DK weight yarn (a light worsted weight may work as well, as long as you meet gauge!)
• Needle for weaving in ends
