Since antiquity, the acanthus leaf motif has been widely used in the fine arts and architecture. These distinctive leaves have been stylized throughout the ages as decorative elements in various artistic movements. The elegant and flowing shape of the acanthus leaf adds a sense of natural beauty and classic elegance to works of art.

Today, I present to you my version of this iconic leaf on a “yoke” style model knitted with the beautiful and sumptuous Highland wool. - Louise Robert ♡

You can purchase the pattern only, otherwise the pattern is included free of charge when you get a knitting kit on Biscotte.org/Acanthus-Yoke
