This Low-sew Acorn bag/purse is crocheted mostly in the round with some charts for parts of the pattern but mostly a written pattern is US terms with pictures throughout the entire pattern.

Requires worsted weight yarn in dark brown, beige, and whichever color you want for your oak leaves. Made with 4.5mm hook (G) and 5.5mm hook (I). The only sewing is attaching your oak leaves and weaving in any yarn ends.

The finished item (if using medium #4 yarn) is about 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide (not including the length of the strap). The closure of the acorn bag is just the top that lifts up and down. The strap can be made to any length.

There’s only one size of this bag in the pattern but of course the size of the finished bag will be different depending on the yarn used and tension of the crocheter.

Gauge based on the single crochets of the bag part of the pattern.
