Acorn is a simple knitted hat using the seed stitch pattern which makes is a great beginner hat or a quick project for the more seasoned knitters.

This hat is knit on US Size 13 needles (I used DPNs) and is done using Super Bulky yarn.

The gauge for this project was 3 sts per inch with the size 13 needles in stockinette stitch.

The hat is a loose fitting beanie so you if you are looking for a snugger fit drop one size in needles or one size in the pattern.

Sizing options for Small (18” to 20”), Regular (20” to 22”), and Large (22” to 24”) are included.

The Regular size hat takes 3.25 ounces of the yarn I used which is about 100 yards.
