This acorn hat fits a bald 6”circumference doll head. The hat is worked from the bottom up, ends in an I-cord stem and then seamed.

Models are Fairyland’s Realfee BJDs.

Valdani’s #8 pearl cotton was used. It’s slightly thicker than DMC or Anchor brand #8 pearl cottons, so #0 U.S. needles are used for this pattern. Subtly variegated colors were used to enhance the look.
