The “ACORN” sweater was inspired by the fall season. When nature changes colors and the days are getting shorted and cooler. Orange and brown are the colors of fall, the colors of falling leaves, mushrooms and acorns.
This model designed with collar to provide an extra warmth for the neck. Ribbing and cables make sweater stretchable and comfortable to wear. The bottons are decorative, the are look like little acorns. No bottons holes needed. Combination of color and details giving a special autumn charm to this model. Your darling will be so cozy and stylish in this sweater.
This model fit well for breeds with a broad chest like: BULLDOGS, PUG, DEVON REX , SHPHYNX, PERSIAN, EXOTIC SHORTHAIR, etc.
The pattern includes a written step-by-step instruction, charts and diagrams . Skill evel 1-2. Suitable for the beginners, advanced beginners and experienced knitters.
This sweater is worked top down. Collar is worked back and forth and than joined the body in the round. Than the piece is worked in the round towards the front legs opening . Chest piece and back piece are worked back and forth separately. Body worked in the round until desired length. The rounded bottom is shaped by knitting back and forth. The bottom ribbing is worked by picking up stitches around the bottom cast-off edge. The legs (sleeves) ribbing are worked with double pointed needled by picking up stitches around the leg opening.

Neck: approx. 30/40/50 cm or 11,8/15,8/19,6 inch
Chest: approx. 40/50/60cm or 15,8/19,6/23,6 inch
Back length :approx. 30/35/40 or 11,8/13,7/15,3 inch
Distance between front legs: approx. 6/8/10 or 2,4/3,1/3,9 inch
YARN: You will need approx. 200m/300m/400m any worsted weight yarn.
REQUIRED TECHNIQUES: cast on of knitter’s choice, increasing and decreasing , picking up stitches, knitting in the round, blinding off, reading charts.
