These fairisle handwarmers are inspired by acorn trees and birds!

The fairisle design is identical on the front and the back of each handwarmer.

The pattern includes instructions for three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. The knuckle circumference for each of these sizes are: 7” for size small, 8” for size medium, and 9” for size large.

The handwarmers are knit in the round from the bottom up on double pointed 3mm needles.

The sample is knit with fingering weight yarn, Jamieson’s 2-Ply Spindrift (Shetland Wool) with three colours, 1 ball of each: Eggshell (768), Celtic (790), and Port Wine (293). One ball is 25 grams / 105 meters.
