Celebrate autumnal colours with this knitted wreath ring decorated with acorns and oak leaves, perfect for bringing the fall-time spirit into your home. Use horizontal rib stitches to simply make a ring shaped wreath.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the wreath is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and a ring cut from cardboard to support the wreath.

SIZES
One size only - 20cm diameter wreath, acorns are 3cm long and leaves 8cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
