Across the Miles Cowl
When trying to decide what to knit my sister for Christmas, I began to miss her terribly—she lives 2500 miles away. I came across this slip-stitch pattern that made me think of the distance between us. Thus, the “Across the Miles” cowl was created. It is a snug cowl akin to a loose turtleneck. It was designed to be like I was giving my sister warm hugs!
This simple pattern is worked in repeats of six 6 stitches and 12 rounds.
I used Cloudborn Superwash Merino Worsted Twist which is aa light worsted weight yarn of 100% superwash merino, but my test knitters used a variety of worsted weight yarns including a cotton/silk blend and a wool/rayon blend.
