This design starts with knitting a headband that is shaped to cover your ears (with double-thick earflaps) and back of your neck. It can be bound off as a thick and warm headband, or extended to be a full knit cap that also keeps your ears and neck warm and toasty. The headband section is double-fabric and extra plush and warm.

It’s made for a medium-size adult head, although it fit’s a wide range of head sizes.
