The beanie sibling to Forbes, designed with a closer fit and deep twisted rib brim that can be worn folded back or pulled down for a slouchier shape.

Daughter of a Shepherd Hebridean & Zwartbles DK (DK / Light worsted weight; 75% Hebridean wool, 25% Zwartbles wool; 233m / 255yds per 100g skein) x 1 (1) skein
Note: Adam is worked with yarn held double throughout.

• 4.5mm (UK 7 / US 7) knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
• 4mm (UK 8 / US 6) knitting needles for tubular cast-on (optional)

TENSION
Size 1: 19 sts and 29.5 rows to 10cm / 4” over Adam Chart on 4.5mm needles with yarn held double, after blocking.
Size 2: 18 sts and 25 rows to 10cm / 4” over Adam Chart on 5mm needles with yarn held double, after blocking.
Take time to check your tension and adjust the needle size accordingly to ensure an accurate finish.
PATTERN NOTES
• The two different sizes of the Adam hat are created by following exactly the same pattern but working at different tensions.
