Adamantine is a drop shoulder sweater with intricate cable panels on a background of reverse stockinette. The flattering cropped length makes this sweater perfect with highwaisted jeans or skirts, or with a longer shirt layered underneath. The slim sleeves are modern, and Brooklyn Tweed’s Shelter yarn is perfect for giving the cables great definition, keeping the sweater light and lofty.

Adamantine is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. After seaming the neckband stitches are picked up and knit in the round.

Sleeves are bracelet length so in some cases they may be too short. Length may be added after sleeve shaping is completed. Sleeves are slim, if necessary, knit one size up.
