This is a tutorial pattern. The instructions illustrate how to add a seamless cable border to an 8” x 8” square. The purpose of the tutorial is to learn how to add the border and then transfer the knowledge to any blanket you have!

The tutorial includes 4 different options for a cable border. Options 1-3 are charted and written. Option 4 is design your own cable border. We have included a chart as well a written template you can use to design your own cable border. Make your blanket truly unique!

This method is a simple method that is completely seamless! This method does not require any sewing!

The cable edge tutorial is designed with worsted weight yarn. However, this method can be transferred to any other weight yarn. Use the yarn and needles size you used when knitting your blanket.
