This illustrates how to make a thumb gusset as part of the finishing process on a fingerless mitt.

The project could be adapted to any yarn, loom or size.

For this demonstration, I used the KB Sock Loom 2, 3/8” gauge with a heavy Aran or light Bulky yarn.

The fingerless mitts shown in the picture are from my Deutsche Knöpfen mitts.
