Addi Sweetheart Headband
This adorable headband works up super quickly and uses almost half the yarn as a regular turban ear warmer. It is a single layer tube, making it great for those who live in a warmer climate and still want cute ear warmers/headbands.
Supplies Needed:
-46 or 48 pin circular knitting machine (I am using the Addi King)
-80-90 yards of worsted weight yarn for the main color
-15-20 yards of waste yarn
-Size G 4.25 mm hook
-Scrap amount of faux leather/vinyl or ribbon (optional)
-Yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape

Begin(ning) - beg

Fasten Off - FO
Repeat - Rep
Single Crochet - sc
Slip Stitch - sl st
Stitch(es) - st(s)
Gauge:
15 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) using medium tension for knitted portion. Gauge for crocheted portion is not imperative since you will be crocheting according to measurements.
Finished Measurements:
Designed to fit adult sized heads 21-23” (53-58 cm) in circumference; however, it should also easily fit a child’s head if you choose to do fewer rows. Unfinished tube should measure approx. 10” (25 cm).
Pattern Notes:
-All cast-on and cast-off methods used in this pattern will be the provisional (basic) cast-on and cast-off methods.
-You will need to be able to read and follow basic beginner crochet pattern instructions.
-You will need to understand basic sewing techniques.
-I have included a YouTube video tutorial for help with the most difficult portions of the pattern.
