Addicted to Love
Do you have a ball of yarn in your stash you’ve been looking for something special to make that doesn’t need a lot of yardage? This scarf is a great way to use it up and make something you will wear again and again (or gift to someone). Addicted to Love is a narrow scarf worked end-to-end in crochet. Increase until you have used up 40-50% of your yarn and decrease down. Add a Faux I-Cord border worked in Tunisian crochet or any other border option you like. (A photo tutorial of the Faux I-Cord included in the pattern.) I recommend a lighter weight yarn such as a fingering/sock weight to sport weight to give the scarf a nice drape and softness. You’ll need a size G (4mm) crochet hook and a ball of yarn (100-200 yards). Your scarf can be made as long and wide as your yarn allows. I used 173 yards to make the yellow and gray scarf that has the I-cord edging. The green scarf with the picot lower border only used about 131 yards. Both scarves measured about 60” long x 4” wide at the center. It is long enough to wrap around twice and tie. This is a 4 page pattern. I named this one Addicted to Love because I love it and it is so addictive to make!
